Ann Pickard has published a wide selection of sugarcraft books for both beginners and more advanced cake. Every book is suitable for beginners and experienced cake decorators. decorating.

All of the books include Ann's unique 'Guide to Sizes' template, which is ideal for anybody starting to make sugarcraft models. It takes the guesswork out of creating models. In the description for each model she tells you the amount of sugar paste you need to use (arms, head, ears, feet etc.) to keep the model in proportion.

She wrote her first book in 1993.

"My Dad had always written and published his own poetry books so it was a natural thing for me to do. My first book was the start of The Idiot's Guide, which has become a very popular range."
